Premier Custom Landscaping & Hardscaping in Belconnen, ACT
Modernizing established Belconnen properties with high- end landscape design, structural paving, retaining walls, and weather- resilient outdoor spaces.
Belconnen’s established residential blocks-from Emu Ridge and Page to the lakeside properties surrounding Lake Ginninderra-offer generous land sizes but present unique landscape engineering challenges. Positioned between Black Mountain and the Pinnacle Nature Reserve, Belconnen landscapes must contend with heavy red- and- yellow podzolic clay soils, shale bedrock, and exposed hill winds.
Soil & Drainage Solutions
Belconnen's clay- rich subsoils hold excess moisture during wet Canberra winters and bake hard during summer. We incorporate deep subsoil drainage, organic soil amendments, and aggregate bases beneath all paved alfresco areas to prevent ground movement and pooling .
Microclimate Resilience
From severe winter frosts reaching - 6°C to scorching 35 °C+ summer afternoons off Lake Ginninderra, we select frost- hardy native plant species and UV- resistant outdoor materials engineered for Canberra's extreme seasonal fluctuations.
Modernizing 1970s Blocks
Many Belconnen homes feature aging timber retaining walls and cracked concrete paths. We specialize in structural knock- down landscape upgrades that replace timber with engineered concrete sleeper retaining walls and premium bluestone or granite paving.
Custom Landscape Design
3D concept plans tailored to Belconnen's rolling topography, balancing sun orientation, entertainment zones, and low- maintenance plantings.
Structural Retaining Walls
Engineered concrete sleeper, Baral block, and natural dry- stack stone retaining walls built to manage Belconnen's sloped blocks and clay soil pressure.
Paving & Alfresco Living
High- durability porcelain, natural granite, and Australian bluestone paving installed over reinforced concrete slabs for crack- free longevity.
Timber & Composite Decking
Custom Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, and low- maintenance Trex composite decks that expand your living space into the backyard.
Hardscaping & Outdoor Features
Built- in fire pits, custom masonry seating, privacy screening, and integrated outdoor lighting.
Low- Maintenance Care Services
